What’s better than making hot chocolate, grabbing your favorite blanket, and sitting down to watch a movie? Not much, but what if it was an Umee movie? Introducing our next community event — Umee Goes To The Movies!

What’s better than making hot chocolate, grabbing your favorite blanket, and sitting down to watch a movie? Not much, but what if it was an Umee movie? Introducing our next community event — Umee Goes To The Movies!

Over the next two days, we want you to rewrite the title of a movie using Umee/crypto topics for a chance to win Umee tokens!

Submitting Your Movie Title

To enter Umee Goes To The Movies:

  • Like this tweet, reply directly to the tweet with your movie title and use #UmeeMovie when replying
  • Accompanying visuals/memes are encouraged but not required

The event will run from January 6th, 15:00 UTC until January 8th, 15:00 UTC. Submissions after this time period will not be accepted.

The top movie title submission will receive :

  • 1,000 UMEE tokens

The two runner-ups will receive:

  • 500 UMEE tokens each

Submissions will be judged by the Umee team based on creativity and level of engagement (likes, comments, retweets) so be sure to interact with your favorites! Participants may submit as many entries as they’d like, but are only eligible to win once.

Even if your submission is not selected as a winner, five random participantswho also retweet will receive:

  • 200 UMEE tokens each

Winners will be tagged on Twitter by January 12th with instructions to receive their rewards.

Rules

Participants must be following @Umee_CrossChain to win. Movie title submissions must be original — they cannot be repeated and we will verify time stamps of tweets if needed. Multiple entries are allowed, but participants can only win once. Winners will be selected at the discretion of the Umee team. Level of engagement (likes/retweets) and creativity will be a factor when judging submissions.
