Umeeween Meme Competition

The Umeeverse just got a bit more spooky. It’s that time of year again where we see pets in adorable costumes, giant bundle bags of candy in grocery stores, and expertly carved jack-o-lanterns. Even if Halloween isn’t your favorite holiday, we have some exciting news to share with the entire Umee community.

We present to you the Umeeween Meme Competition!

Now, what is #Umeeween? Well, we wanted to take the chance during this holiday season to give back to the Umee community as well as any newcomers wanting to join the wave. With a fun event like a meme competition, we’re providing an opportunity for people to earn some Umee tokens! That said, please see below for the guidelines of the Umeeween meme competition.

How to enter?

• Create an original meme (image, video, or gif) related to Umee
• Reply with your meme under the Twitter competition thread with #Umeeween
• *Optional — share a link to your tweet in the #memes channel on the Umee Discord to be eligible for the community favorite bonus reward*

Who can enter?

Anyone can enter! This meme competition is meant to appeal to the broader Umee community — existing and new. We want to give back to the community that’s made us so successful up to this point.

Competition Dates

Start: Tuesday, 19th October

Closes: 23:59 UTC, Sunday, 31st October

Competition Rules

1. Memes must be Umee themed
2. Memes must be original content
3. Must be following @Umee_CrossChain
4. No religious themes
5. No political themes
6. No hate speech
7. No fudding
8. Multiple entries are allowed but participants can only win once, with the exception of the community favorite

Rewards

• Total Prize Pool: 5,000 UMEE
• First Place (1): 1,000 UMEE
• Second Place (1): 500 UMEE
• Runner Ups (5): 250 UMEE each
• Discord Community Favorite (1): Additional 250 UMEE
• Twenty (20) random participants who also retweet the thread will receive 100 UMEE each

Distribution of prizes

**All Umee token rewards will be distributed after mainnet launch**

Tips to win:

Judges will be considering quality, creativity, and popularity (likes/retweets) when selecting winners. So be sure to tell your friends, have them participate, and don’t forget to share your submission link in the #memes channel on the Umee Discord!

The meme with the most 🌊 reactions on the #memes Discord channel will receive an additional 250 UMEE.
